At the Strathclyde Sleep Centre, we are dedicated to advancing understanding of sleep and its vital role in health and wellbeing

Our research explores the prevalence and nature of sleep issues across diverse populations, to understand how sleep affects both physical and mental health. We also focus on designing and evaluating effective treatments for sleep. A core part of our mission is to improve the accessibility and impact of these treatments—ensuring that those who need support can get it in the most effective way possible.

Driven by science, compassion, and collaboration, we aim to make meaningful contributions to sleep research and promote healthier lives through better sleep.

Our research

Our researchers are working on a variety of projects to examine the prevalence and impact of sleep problems and development and testing of suitable treatments.
