Overview of sleep training opportunities

OUR APPROACH TO TRAINING

Sleep is essential for our mental and physical health as well as our general functioning and quality of life; yet sleep is often neglected and not prioritised. Our mission here at the University of Strathclyde Sleep Centre is to share our knowledge and expertise with a wider audience by delivering evidence-led specialist sleep training. This is designed to improve understanding of sleep, support effective behaviour change, and translate research into practical strategies that can be applied in real-world settings.

All training delivered by the Strathclyde Sleep Centre is:

  • Evidence-based – informed by current sleep and circadian science.
  • Practical – focused on real-world application of skills and strategies.
  • Expert-led – delivered by specialists with more than 20 years of sleep & academic expertise.
  • Context-specific – adapted to the audience, setting and purpose.

Our programmes are delivered by experienced sleep specialists and tailored to the needs of different contexts, from healthcare services to workplaces and educational environments. Training formats can be tailored to your needs, ranging from online webinars and one-off workshops to comprehensive full-day courses.
